Who Are We

Trinity Lutheran Church is a part of Christian denomination historically rooted in the Lutheran/Evangelical traditions.  Specifically we are members of the Saskatchewan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada  and are the end result of the merging of a number of local area congregations including Snassen, Estevan Norwegian Lutheran Ch, and others.

More importantly though we are a congregation that strives to be a caring community of servants of Christ.  Our ministry is to create a place where the people of Estevan can meet the living God and hear the living Word.  Forgiven, healed, and empowered we are then sent out to be Christ for the world in our day to day lives at school, at home, at work and in the community.

We are a congregation that endeavours to give life to a wide variety of ministries and opportunities to enable us to serve our community and grow together in our faith.

Our Synod Bishop is newly elected Rev. Dr. Sid Haugen (April 2014).  Nationally we are lead by Bishop Susan Johnson (whose family actually has roots in the Estevan area).  You can click on the above links to get a better sense of what these each are and of our history.
